Technical Program Manager – Ad Platforms
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support ad server features across a wide range of projects, including the proprietary ad exchange. This role will have cross-functional impact, intersecting with Ad Server, Data, and Business Intelligence teams.
As part of the Global Program Management team within Business Operations, you will drive planning and execution for complex, strategic programs within the Ad Platforms technology group. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in managing multiple technical initiatives independently, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with both engineering and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead large-scale, technically complex programs across multiple teams and departments
Create and manage comprehensive program plans, timelines, and dependency tracking
Ensure transparency and accountability through clear communication of progress, risks, and issue resolution
Deliver regular status updates and executive summaries through presentations and written communication
Define stakeholder roles and responsibilities, ensuring alignment and ownership
Oversee build and QA activities per program milestones
Manage program budgets and resource planning proactively
Collaborate across program management teams to align schedules and dependencies
Maintain technical fluency in program domain, including system architecture, tools, and cross-platform interactions
Track key program metrics, drive continuous improvement
Independently resolve conflicts and keep initiatives focused on outcomes
Coordinate with external vendors and facilitate Agile ceremonies as needed
Basic Qualifications:
5 years of experience managing complex, global software development programs
Proven ability to communicate and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including with executive stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in media technology or advertising technology domains
Working knowledge of Ad Tech or ability to quickly gain domain expertise
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, SAFe)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required
