Dining Attendant (Maple Room)
Reports to: Maple Room Supervisor or Manager
Job Summary
This position assists the food server in providing friendly and efficient service to guests in assigned areas. Key responsibilities include clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables, transporting dirty tableware for cleaning, completing assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks, and maintaining adequate inventory of supplies.
Key Responsibilities
- Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow associates.
- Receives and restocks supplies from the main warehouse.
- Responsible for dry storage, liquor room, coolers, freezers, and bar inventory.
- Places orders with the main warehouse for beverages, food, and dry items.
- Maintains all areas clean and properly stocked, allocates, and scans articles to appropriate areas.
- Clears and resets tables according to established procedures.
- Accomplishes all assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks following F&B S.O.P.s.
- Fulfills prescribed service standards as they apply to the position and F&B S.O.P.s.
- Maintains adequate inventory of product and supplies at assigned areas.
- Obtains TIPS certification and demonstrates a solid comprehension of the training.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- One to three months of related experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations.
Work Environment
The work environment is moderate, with occasional exposure to extreme heat and frequent wet and/or humid conditions.
