Job Title: Valet Attendant

Starting Rate: $10.00 per hour plus tips
Reports to: Valet Supervisor/Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Closing Date: Open Until Filled
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a friendly, helpful and courteous manner while delivering and returning guests' vehicles to and from the valet parking lot to the casino entrance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver and retrieve guests' cars to and from the casino front entrance and valet parking lot.
- Assist guests upon entering and exiting their vehicles.
- Lock cars and give keys to the dispatcher.
- Adhere to all departmental safety standards and procedures.
- Dispatch as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned by the Valet Supervisor/Manager.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. A valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract is also necessary.
Physical Demands:
This position requires frequent walking and running if acting as valet. The associate may occasionally need to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl when servicing or inspecting vehicles.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The position exists in a casino work environment where there is frequent and regular exposure to loud noise and tobacco smoke from the casino floor.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
A St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Gaming Work Permit license is required. Successful candidates for employment must submit to and pass a drug test for illegal substances prior to employment being confirmed.
Fleet Policy:
All candidates must be 18 years of age when applying. A valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract is necessary.
