About the GET Program
Our Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET) development program is your gateway to an international career within AkzoNobel's Integrated Supply Chain. Over the course of 24 months, you will gain invaluable experience in both managerial and expert roles, while contributing to our global culture and innovations in manufacturing. Prepare for future leadership or specialist roles across AkzoNobel worldwide.
Program Duration : 24 months total
First 12 months : Based at AkzoNobel's factory in Poland (Pilawa, Masovian Voivodeship)
Second 12 months : Rotate to a different AkzoNobel site in Europe, gaining exposure to our diverse operations and culture.
During the GET program You will
Actively contribute to process optimization and investment projects within AkzoNobel's manufacturing environment.
Identify areas for improvement, design effective solutions, and implement them.
Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects stay within approved limits.
Ensure compliance with company codes, practices, QA / QC policies, and performance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret project needs, provide assistance, and offer technical support.
Investigate process failures, determine root causes, and propose and implement corrective actions.
Use data analysis and problem-solving methodologies to enhance plant and equipment efficiency.
About You
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Production Management, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.
A strong interest in pursuing a career in manufacturing with a multinational company.
Willing to relocate after the 24-month program to take on new challenges across AkzoNobel’s international sites (Europe).
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in diverse, cross-functional teams.
Eager to learn and gain experience in various functions and technologies.
Analytical, with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
Ready to take ownership and initiative.
Fluency in both English and Polish is essential.
