Job Description:
Al Andalus Institute of Pittsburgh is seeking dedicated and passionate Elementary Classroom Teachers for grades 3rd through 5th for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that supports the academic and personal growth of all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects (Math, English, Science, Social Studies) in accordance with the curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and respect for diversity.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare and update curriculum maps to ensure alignment with educational standards and goals.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development.
- Participate in school meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities as required.
- Uphold the mission and values of Al Andalus Institute of Pittsburgh.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $2,600.00 - $2,800.00 per month
