Description
Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential equipment. This is a seasonal position.
Job duties:
- Responsible for receiving, shipping, counting and tagging inventory
- Maintains in depth knowledge of receiving software with the ability to self-serve and help team mates who have questions
- Stocks inventory
- Keeps receiving area tidy to reduce hazards in the work place
- Ability to operate forklift equipment, manual pallet jacks and push carts to and from destination
- Works cross functionally with office staff to handle any receiving discrepancies
- Processes damaged items
- Unloads trucks
- Ability to transition to assist in retail store during peak season.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to lift at least 40lbs
- Fork Lift experience (can train)
- Retail experience is a plus
- Plant knowledge is a plus
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Strong problem solving ability
- Willingness to learn
- Must come to work with a positive attitude and work as a team player
Physical Demands
This job requires the ability to work standing, walking, bending, and lifting 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day.
Work Environment
This job can operate in a warehouse, indoor and outdoor retail space, and in an office environment as business requires.
