Description
Working with our Visual Merchandising Department on designing displays and merchandising. Responsible for the visual presentation of products in Al’s Garden and Home. The visual Merchandising team plays a crucial role in presenting the brand's story, engaging customers, and ultimately influencing purchase decisions.
Essential Functions:

- Promote and maintain an outstanding customer experience that can only be found at Al’s Garden and Home for all guests who enter the retail location.
- Embrace a safety culture of injury and accident prevention by following safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Ensure displays are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and aligned with the brand’s identity.
- Update and refresh visual merchandising displays regularly to reflect new promotions, products, and seasonal trends.
- Organize products in a way that enhances their appeal and drives sales.
- Utilize visual techniques such as color coordination, signage, lighting, and focal points to highlight key items.
- Strategically arrange products based on customer buying habits, store layout, and seasonal trends.
- Ensure that displays and store environments are clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest retail and design trends, fashion movements, and industry developments to incorporate into store visuals.
Qualifications
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles (color theory, layout design, lighting, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Capability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Capacity to analyze situations, identify problems and implement solutions, and to effectively lead the work of other managers.
Physical Requirements:
- Strength to lift and move store fixtures, props, and merchandise.
- Comfortable working on ladders or at heights when creating window or overhead displays.
- Proficient at using power tools. Ie. Drills, saws, hammers, etc.
Working Environment:
This job can operate in a warehouse, indoor and outdoor retail space, and in an office environment as business requires.
