Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure it is stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
• Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by disposing of waste properly and cleaning surfaces.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support during busy periods.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support catering events or special functions as required by assisting in food service or preparation.

Experience

• Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• A willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
