Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary Building Principal to lead our West Campus and oversee the academic, social, and operational success of students and staff across all grade levels (KG-12th). The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a passion for education, and a commitment to the school’s mission and vision.

This position reports directly to the Head of Schools and will be evaluated by the Head of Schools based on performance metrics and overall campus success.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Vision

• Develop and implement a shared vision for the academic growth of the West Campus.

• Inspire and lead a team of educators, staff, and students in achieving excellence across all grade levels.

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that supports the diverse needs of students.

Academic Excellence

• Monitor and evaluate curriculum implementation, ensuring alignment with state and school standards.

• Foster innovative instructional practices to support student achievement and engagement.

• Analyze student performance data to inform decision-making and improve academic outcomes.

Staff Development & Supervision

• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teachers and staff, promoting professional growth and collaboration.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high expectations among staff.

• Facilitate professional development opportunities aligned with school goals.

Student Support

• Ensure that students receive appropriate academic, emotional, and behavioral support.

• Develop and implement programs to promote character development, leadership, and student well-being.

• Maintain visibility and accessibility to students, parents, and staff.

Operational Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the West Campus, ensuring efficiency and adherence to school policies.

• Manage budgets, resources, and facilities in alignment with school priorities.

• Collaborate with district-level administration and other campus principals to achieve school-wide goals.

Community Engagement

• Build strong relationships with parents, community members, and other stakeholders.

• Communicate effectively to foster trust and transparency among all members of the school community.

• Represent the school at community and school events.

Qualifications

Education & Certification

• Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field (required).

• Valid state certification for school administration (currently held or in progress)

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience and some administrative or leadership experience, preferably in a KG-12 setting.

• Proven success in leading and managing diverse teams.

Skills & Attributes

• Experience working in a culturally diverse school or community.

• Familiarity with Islamic educational institutions

• Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching and school management.
