Alaant Workforce Solutions has partnered with a top financial organization in the capital region. They are seeking an individual to lead and manage a team for their Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk. Hours and Benefits for the IT Support Manager : On-site Monday-Friday $65,000 - $85,000 Paid Time Off, plus paid Holidays 401k with employer match (3%), a fully funded ESOP plan, Pension Plan (6%) AND Profit-Sharing Plan! Medical, Dental and Vision insurance Responsibilities for the IT Support Manager : IT Support and Operations Management : Oversee IT support operations, including the call center and ticket system, with minimal hands-on technical work. Focus on supervising, planning, meeting, training, and evaluating metrics and trends to enhance the support team and improve the user experience. Training and Development : Collaborate with HR to enhance new hire orientation and training. Develop and present effective curricula for new technologies to small or large groups, both remotely and in-person. Create clear documentation and communication for end users about upcoming changes. Vendor and Technology Management : Maintain relationships with vendors, manage technology updates, and handle user account administration in Active Directory. Team Leadership : Lead and mentor the IT support team, ensuring performance standards, resource availability, and continuous improvement. Requirements for the IT Support Manager : Bachelor’s Degree in information technology-related field or equivalent experience required. 5 years of support experience required, supervisory experience preferred! Strong written and verbal communication skills; effective in presenting and working with vendors, co-workers, and management.
