Job Description

Alaant Workforce Solutions is hiring an RF Engineer for a leading designer and manufacturer of research- and military-grade antennas, sensors, and systems for broadband RF communications and testing. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity located in Johnstown, NY , nestled between the Mohawk Valley and the Capital Region, with scenic views of the Adirondack Mountains.

Hours and Benefits for the RF Engineer :

Pay : $80,000

Responsibilities for the RF Engineer :

Assist in the design and fabrication of RF antennas

Support integration of electronic components such as LNA, active antennas, and radios

Contribute engineering support to the manufacturing unit

Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to develop advanced antenna technology

Engage in business planning and innovation , aiding in the ideation and execution of antenna solutions

Ensure quality control and respond to evolving customer requirements

Maintain proper technical documentation and project records

Requirements for the RF Engineer :

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required); Master’s degree preferred

0-3 years of experience in RF engineering, RF antennas, or general RF systems knowledge

Strong understanding of RF principles and S-parameters

Hands-on approach to engineering with solid theoretical knowledge

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
