Responsibilities for the Service Engineer : Diagnose and repair industrial control systems and related components using strong troubleshooting skills. Conduct break / fix services for control systems and components; handle some preventative maintenance tasks. Startup and commission Instrumentation and variable frequency drives. Work off punch lists to complete tasks effectively. Collaborate with clients to establish trust and maintain clear communication. Perform system control system upgrades and modifications as required. Manage and document work orders, and ensure client approval. Ensure compliance with safety standards during all service calls. Requirements for the Service Engineer : Experience working with machinery and control panels across various industries. Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues. Ability to evaluate and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. Self-directed with excellent organizational skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Preferred Qualifications : Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field. Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and control devices.
