Responsibilities
- Assist the delivery driver in loading and unloading products from the delivery vehicle.
- Ensure that all items are securely loaded and organized for safe transport.
- Help navigate delivery routes and provide support in reaching destinations efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with the delivery team and customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety protocols while handling products and operating vehicles.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans.
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience using pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous.
- Strong physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform manual labor throughout the shift.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
