Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or the equivalent and two (2) to four (4) years of experience in loan support operations, title company, general accounting, or banking and customer service. General knowledge of accounting/financial systems. Skilled in oral and written communication. Must have excellent interpersonal skills with a customer focus. Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office applications. Strong work ethic, able to perform multiple tasks efficiently and is a self-starter. Skilled in data entry and/or typing.
Essential Functions:
Develops and reviews loan applicant information for accuracy. Assists management and office team members with loan origination and servicing activities to include entering loan data, ordering title/appraisal services, and assisting with loan closings. Reviews loan closing packages for regulatory and policy compliance. Handles moderately complex customer inquiries and problem resolution. Provides excellent customer service to foster good relationships. Assists and monitors delinquencies and reporting to include mortgage satisfactions and past due covenants. Identifies and promotes opportunities to cross sale association products and services to both existing and prospective customers. Works closely with office staff and management to cover gaps in workflow. Learns and practices reviewing simple to moderately complex credit analysis of potential borrowers to ascertain creditworthiness. Learns and practices maintaining current, adequate, and verified financial information on borrowers and guarantors in accordance with policy. Learns how to promote the association through civic involvement within the market and establish business relationships with agricultural producers, lenders, and rural landowners while cultivating these relationships to expand lending opportunities. Occasional travel may be required in this position.
