EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, agricultural economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience and seven (7) to ten (10) years involving credit extension, administration, and analysis of commercial credits and agribusiness loans. Must have experience and knowledge in the analysis of complex credits, as well as negotiating and dealing with large loans. Must have experience working with senior management and loan officers in the structuring, evaluation, and analysis of loans and loan participations. Must have excellent time management, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills as it relates to finding creative solutions to complex loan servicing or loan participation packages.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides analysis, servicing, and reporting for association purchased or originated complex loans. Responsible for exercising credit risk management, conveying decisions on loan approvals, structure, and pricing. Identifies, develops, and grows relationships with commercial agribusiness accounts. Works closely with the association marketing department, industry leaders, and business partners to develop and implement marketing and business development plans. Tracks and regularly reports on market areas, activities, and results. Analyzes financial data to determine credit worthiness. Maintains a working and current knowledge of government guarantee programs. Works with borrowers to obtain satisfactory loan performance. Completes intensive servicing and monitoring of each credit. Ensures legal compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations including portfolio and eligibility restrictions.
