What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bi-Vocational Pastor position at Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions?
Bi-Vocational Pastor Needed
Description: Kushla Bethany Baptist Church is in prayerful search for whomever God will choose to be our next Pastor. The position will be open to bi-vocational candidates only at this time. The duties of Pastor at KBBC will include leading Sunday morning worship service, prayer and visitation with our sick, elderly, or shut-in church family, community outreach to inactive members, community outreach and evangelism to non-members, youth outreach, and attendance to any special events as they are scheduled throughout the year. Wednesday services may be optional and can be discussed during the interview process. Salary is also negotiable and will also be discussed during a candidate’s interview for the position. The Pastoral position at KBBC will provide a great opportunity to start with a solid foundation and work with a congregation who is faithful and seeking to work with our Pastor to build something truly special to glorify God’s name in our community. Our hope is to find a faithful servant of Christ who will hold firmly to the Word, give instruction in sound doctrine, and rebuke those who contradict it. We need a man that can lend us his steady hand to guide us while at the same time being an outspoken preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that inspires and equips our membership to do the same. Any prospective Pastor who is being led by the Spirit of God to become a shepherd to a small, growing, and faithful flock of firm believers in Christ is encouraged to contact our Pastor Search Committee and provide the information requested in the following outline to KBBCPastorSearchCommittee@gmail.com.
