Youth Pastor

First Baptist Church Clanton is seeking a Full Time Youth Pastor to join our staff. Clanton, AL is strategically located in the center of the state between Birmingham and Montgomery. .First Baptist Clanton is in downtown Clanton, where she has been faithfully serving the community for over 150 years.

The Youth Pastor will oversee the spiritual growth of the students within the student ministries at FBC Clanton. He will be responsible for leading students in 7th – 12th grade by leading weekly worship/biblical teaching on Wednesday nights, overseeing Sunday School on Sunday mornings, overseeing student discipleship, leading a wonderful group of parent volunteers, organizing summer camp and other trips, engaging students in local mission opportunities, and planning other activities/events that serve as a bridge to reach students in the community with the gospel and connect them to the church.

• Strong Communicator. We are looking for a man who will not only effectively communicate God's word, but effectively communicate with the congregation, particularly the youth parents.
• Relational. We are looking for a man who will value what the students value. This means he will attend their events and the things that matter to them.
