Key Responsibilities
- Spiritual Leadership: Provide vision, leadership, and development for the student ministry in collaboration with the Senior Pastor.
- Program Development: Organize and lead weekly programs and periodic special events that promote spiritual growth and development among students.
- Outreach and Discipleship: Facilitate outreach initiatives and discipleship programs targeted at students.
- Community Engagement: Love and serve the local community and have a heart for global missions.
- Communication: Effectively communicate God’s word and maintain open lines of communication with the congregation, especially youth parents.
- Relational Ministry: Attend student events and activities to build strong, supportive relationships.
- Volunteer Development: Recruit, train, and develop adult volunteers to assist in the student ministry.
- A clear calling to student ministry and a strong biblical foundation.
- Ability to effectively communicate and teach God’s word.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and nurturing the spiritual growth of young people.
- A heart for local and global missions.
- Strong relational skills and the ability to connect with students and their families.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- This position can be full-time or part-time.
- The Senior Pastor will be the direct supervisor, with guidance from the Church Staff Committee.
- Adherence to the policies and procedures outlined in the church bylaws is required.
- Must be attuned to the unique needs and interests of students, providing a supportive and engaging environment for their spiritual development.
