Position Summary
The Creative Media Specialist will play a critical role in developing and enhancing the visual identity of the ACCS Innovation Center. This individual will manage graphic design projects, assist in formulating social media strategies, oversee website management, and lead content creation for digital and print media. This position requires a strategic mindset with the ability to take the ACCS Innovation Center’s brand to the next level by producing engaging, innovative media content that reflects our mission to "Train Our State for the Better."
- NOTE : This position may be based at the main office in Montgomery, a system college, or the Innovation Center in Decatur.

Sick Leave
Full-time employees earn 4 hours and 20 minutes of sick leave for each half-monthly pay period of service or 13 days per year. No more than 150 days or 1, 200 hours of sick leave may be accumulated. Personal Leave
All full-time, part-time, or temporary employees who are employed by the State of Alabama on January 1, and who are stationed outside of Mobile and Baldwin Counties, are entitled to a personal leave day each year in lieu of the former Mardi Gras holiday. The System Office policy requires that employees schedule their personal leave day prior to scheduling any annual leave.

The State Employees’ Health Insurance Plan (SEHIP) is basic hospital medical coverage administered by BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama (BCBS) with prescription benefits administered by OptumRx.

Tier II (those with service credit beginning on or after January 1, 2013) : 6.2%

Tuition Waiver
This tuition assistance program is designed for all full-time benefits-eligible employees, retirees, and benefits-eligible H Salary Schedule employees of The Alabama Community College System and the Alabama Community College System office and their dependents defined by the policy.
