What are the responsibilities and job description for the Indirect Relationship Agent position at Alabama Credit Union?
To perform support functions in the daily operations of participation loans, indirect member and loan on-boarding, alternative channel loans such as, but not limited to, ACUSI, UAG, or CU-Outdoors. This includes loan tracking, reporting, and maintenance, processing indirect loan applications, booking accounts and loans to the core system, processing monthly remittance reports, payment and wires for participation loans, and processing associated documentation.
Requirements:Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience. Experience in a loan department in a Credit Union strongly preferred.
Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through and apprenticeship program.
Other Skills: This position requires knowledge of participation loans, indirect lending practices and procedures, with a very high degree of attention to detail. Understanding of loan products, policies, regulations, loan underwriting concepts and lending risks are required, including understanding and working knowledge of the following: Personal financial statements and Indirect loan forms, titles, UCC forms, liens, and lien perfection.
