The Training Specialist II is a full-time position within the Personnel Division of the Alabama Department of Corrections. This position is advanced administrative work in the field of employee training and development. Primary responsibilities include:
- Developing, promoting, coordinating and administering a comprehensive training program involving a variety of technical courses.
- Developing and implementing a department-wide workforce development program complete with training and educational coursework.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Three (3) years of professional experience in the development, administration, and evaluation of employee training.
