JOB TITLE : COMPUTER SCIENCE TEACHER

Start date : January 3, 2025

Includes : Coaching responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
Valid Professional Educator Certificate

REPORTS TO : Principal

SUPERVISES : Students and assigned personnel

JOB GOAL : To help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, responsible members of society.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :

Determines individual and class needs.

Establish objectives and plans learning experiences.

Implementing activities using a variety of techniques that utilize instructional time to meet objectives.

Establish and maintain standards for student behavior to achieve a functional learning atmosphere.

Exhibit positive human relations skills.

Evaluate the educational programs and / or student progress.

Communicate with parents / guardians, colleagues, and community groups.

Demonstrate proficiency in written and oral communication.

Maintain and submit records and reports.

Adhere to school system rules, administrative procedures, Leeds City Schools Board of Education policy, and state and federal rules and regulations.

Engage in personal and professional growth and demonstrates professional ethics and leadership.

Develops, maintain, and implement individual education plans and other required documentation.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT :

1. Nine Month

2. Salary as recommended by the Superintendent and approved by the Leeds City Schools Board of Education.

EVALUATION : Performance of the job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's Policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
