What are the responsibilities and job description for the DATA CLERK (MORRIS AVENUE INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL) position at Alabama Department of Education?
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Alabama public school experience preferred but not required.
- Associate degree or 48 hours from an accredited college or university.
- Effective communication skills.
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.
- Word processing skills required.
- Database and spreadsheet skills preferred but not required.
- Effective human relation skills.
- Professionalism, dedication and flexibility.
- Must have a clear background check with the ABI and FBI.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Maintain Student Information System
2. Maintain & Coordinate attendance reports as outlined by O.C.S.
3 3. General Office Procedures
4 4. Assist school bookkeeper as needed
5 5. Participate in In-Service Training Programs and attend regular meetings with the District Technology Coordinator.
6 6. Assume other duties as assigned by Administrator.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Light Work : Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.
ANNUAL CALENDAR DAYS : 12 Months (235 Days, 7.5 Hrs.)
Salary Range : According to Opelika City Schools Salary Schedule (Salary based on employment for complete year).
