The Health Services Administrator I is a permanent, full-time position with the Department of Public Health. Positions are located throughout the state. This is professional staff work in varied health programs of the State of Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate partnership agreements
- Coordinate the activities of the Public Health Infrastructure Grant
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities designed to inform and raise awareness of health disparities across the state
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited* four-year college or university in Health Services Administration, Public Administration, Hospital Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
** College seniors who are in their last semester or quarter may apply and be placed on the employment register; however, applicants will be required to submit documentation to the hiring agency verifying completion of the Bachelor's degree prior to beginning employment.
