Job Description:
The Nurse Coordinator is a permanent, full-time position used by various agencies. Positions are located throughout the state. This is professional nursing work in coordinating a specialized nursing program or activity within a clinic or institutional setting or supervising a small county clinic or institutional staff.
Public health nursing is a community-based nursing profession. Highly skilled professionals provide disease prevention education and acute care to the citizens of Alabama utilizing community/population health knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited* four-year college or university in Nursing, Public Health, or a closely related field.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited* four-year college or university in Nursing.
- One year of professional nursing experience.
OR
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited* four-year college or university in Nursing
- Two years of professional nursing experience.
OR
- Associate’s degree from an accredited* college or university in Nursing or diploma in Nursing.
- Four years of professional nursing experience.
