Are you an experienced Collections Specialist with a strong background in medical billing and insurance claims? Join our team at Alabama Pain Physicians and help ensure our practice maintains financial stability while providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact patients regarding outstanding balances and set up payment plans as needed
• Follow up on unpaid insurance claims and work with insurance providers to resolve denials
• Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations
• Work closely with the billing department and front desk staff to streamline collections processes

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in medical collections, billing, or accounts receivable preferred
• Knowledge of insurance claims, denials, and payment posting
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Experience with medical billing software
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
