What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Alabama Plate Cutting Company?
We are looking for material handlers to help support machine operators keeping their machines cutting. In this job you will be responsible for keeping material staged in cutting order beside the machine. You will also be responsible for helping the operator unload scrap and parts that were cut. In your spare time you will learn how to operate the machine for advancement and fill in when the operator is out. positions are available on 1st and 3rd shift.
- must be able to lift up to 30 Lbs repetitively
- must be able to operate or capable of learning to operate overhead crane.
- must be able to pass pre employment drug screening
- forklift experience
- must have great mathematical skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
