Job Summary
This position is part of the Revenue Accounting Billing team. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to WFM completion, Service Order completion, billing adjustments, MID review, and metering analysis.
This position needs to have operational and specialized knowledge of the CSS application.
The position needs the ability, knowledge, and skills to use SENSUS, ARMS, METS, Mobius, and other accounting applications.
Note: The location for this position is flexible across the Alabama Power footprint. The successful candidate may work from any Alabama Power Office location that is in the vicinity of their home provided space is available.

Education
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma is required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience reviewing and completing WFM’s such as but not limited to (Billing, Budget Billing, and Pre-bill WFM’s)
- Experience completing service orders using the ARMS check off list
- Experience using CSS to bill customer accounts
- Experience with metering and its effect on proper rate application
- Experience performing billing adjustments
- Experience communicating with internal and external customers
- Understands the purpose of WFMS and is familiar with the different WFM groupings
- Understands the 4-Day Window and how it controls event driven billing
- Understands APC rates, how riders alter billing from the standard tariff, and how contracts are used to apply special billing determinate to individual customers
- Understands the basic components of a bill and how a bill is calculated
- Has knowledge of Itron EE Web Reads and Sensus
- Possesses an understanding of MIDs
- Understands the various service and field orders and correct selection of proper order types
- Has the knowledge and ability to use various reports to resolve meter reading issues
- Understands meter constants/multipliers and how they relate to usage
- Understands APC rates, how riders alter billing from the standard tariff, and how contracts are used to apply special billing determinate to individual customers
