We are looking for individuals dedicated to providing high-quality, customer-focused lawn care treatment and pest control services to our customers. This position will serve as a hybrid between Lawn and Pest departments at APS. If you enjoy working outdoors and being out on your own with little direct supervision, we’d love to talk with you.
Responsibilities:
- Apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other treatments to lawns based on scheduled applications or specific needs
- Calibrate and operate equipment, such as spreaders and sprayers, to ensure accurate and even application of treatments
- Follow established guidelines for safe handling and application of chemicals and treatments
- Communicate respectfully with customers and team members
- Overseed or reseed bare or thin areas of the lawn to promote thick, lush grass growth
- Apply appropriate treatments to prevent, control, or mitigate the spread of diseases
- Coordinate with other team members and supervisors to ensure seamless service delivery
- Work a flexible schedule as required to meet weekly responsibilities, including occasional weekend hours.
- Complete all required service-related documentation for each customer, including collecting and processing payments for service
- Manage route production on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Perform inspections and treatments
Qualifications:
- No experience is necessary; we will teach you what you need to know to expertly and confidently do your work!
- Be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working outdoors and in various weather conditions
- Work a flexible schedule as required to meet weekly responsibilities, including occasional weekend hours.
- Willingness to collaborate with technicians, other sales team members, and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision
- A valid ID and safe driving record
- Ability to fit in crawlspaces to perform inspections
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background and drug screen

Salary : $48 - $55
