Alabama Public Television (APT) is seeking a full-time Division Director for our public radio station, WLRH 89.3 FM / HD in Huntsville, AL. This position will oversee the 24-hour operations and technical management of WLRH, contributing to its mission of informing, inspiring, and fostering connections within the Tennessee Valley.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all operational and technical aspects of keeping 3 radio channels on-air 24 hours per day in compliance with state and federal broadcasting guidelines.
- Manage all fundraising activities, including membership drives, corporate support contracts, special fundraising events, and on-air revenue building efforts.
- Set and manage program scheduling on WLRHs three channels.
- Supervise all WLRH staff to include performance evaluations, technical training, and employee scheduling.
