Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS) is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide therapy and psychosocial care in a school-based setting. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on students and their families by offering critical mental health support and connecting them with essential resources.
What You’ll Do:
· Provide individual, group, and family counseling to students.
· Conduct bio-psychosocial assessments to evaluate emotional, mental health, and social factors affecting student well-being.
· Collaborate with schools, healthcare providers, and community resources to ensure comprehensive care.
· Identify and address issues such as trauma, abuse, neglect, substance use, and domestic violence, making necessary referrals and mandated reports.
· Assist students and families in navigating financial, legal, and social challenges that impact mental health.
· Participate in case reviews, clinical supervision, and professional development to enhance skills and maintain best practices.
· Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to ethical and compliance standards.
What We’re Looking For:
· Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
· Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or eligibility for licensure.
· 3-5 years of experience in clinical social work (preferred).
· Strong knowledge of mental health, substance abuse, and trauma-informed care.
· Excellent communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
