Job Summary:
We are seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our team!
Alabama Regional Medical Services (ARMS) is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner provide specialized care for newborns, infants, toddlers, adolescents and young adults. In this role, the focus will be on well-child care and the prevention or management of common pediatric acute illnesses and chronic conditions.
What You’ll Do:
· Assessing growth patterns
· Evaluating developmental milestones and educating parents about normal growth and development
· Eliciting comprehensive health histories
· Ordering and interpreting common laboratory and other diagnostic tests
· Diagnosing and treating common acute illnesses
· Prescribing medication
· Ordering immunizations
· Performing physical examinations, including school physicals, preparticipation sports physicals, and general well-child exams
What We’re Looking For:
· Master’s Degree in Nursing required.
· Alabama Advanced Practice licensure required.
· Alabama Board of Pediatrics Certification
· PALS/BLS Certification required
· 2 years of Primary Care Experience required.
· 2 years of Pediatric experience required.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish), a plus!
