What are the responsibilities and job description for the House Parent-St. Clair County Boys Ranch position at Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches?
Full-time, live-in house parents needed for Christian residential child care programs at the St. Clair County Boys Ranch. House parents provide daily care of 7-10 boys from unfortunate circumstances. The Ranch is a 24-hour care, residential group home. Each set of parents works a 12-day shift, followed by 4 days off. All direct care staff live full-time at our locations where they are involved in the physical, spiritual, emotional and educational development of underprivileged/at-risk children from age 6 to 18. We are looking for employees who have a good work ethic, can work well in a team setting, and can complete paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Must have at minimum a High School diploma and a valid driver's license is required. Experience working with children and/or a degree in a related field is a plus.
