RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions
· Conduct thorough bank account reviews and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
· Analyze General Ledger (GL) accounts, performing necessary adjustments to maintain accurate financial records
· Investigate budget variances, identify key contributing factors, and support the Director of Audit & Reporting in forecasting quarter-end and year-end financials
· Contribute to month-end close processes, including journal entry preparation and other closing activities
· Provide significant support during the annual and departmental budgeting process
· Assist with cross-training team members on reconciliation processes and financial procedures to enhance departmental knowledge-sharing
· Act as a key point of contact for department heads, offering insights into financial status and critical financial metrics

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
· Advanced knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and budgeting practices
· Strong understanding of forecasting techniques and financial modeling preferred
· Proficiency in financial software, Excel, and ERP systems required
Required Experience
· Minimum of 5- 8 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles
· Proven experience in month-end close processes, journal entries, and reconciliations
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reconciliations, and budgeting methodologies
- Skilled in financial systems and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the ability to clearly communicate financial insights
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on experience with month-end close procedures and variance analysis preferred.
- Understanding of payroll processes, with the flexibility to provide backup support when necessary.

Occasional walking, standing, bending, or reaching may be necessary to retrieve files or attend on-site meetings. Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position requiring approximately 40 hours per week. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Occasional extended hours may be required during peak financial reporting periods, budget preparation, audits, or other time-sensitive projects. Flexibility in scheduling may be needed to meet organizational deadlines and support special initiatives.
