What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Associate, Occupational Therapy position at Alabama State University?
Alabama State University's Academic Affairs/College of Health Sciences/Department of Occupational Therapy invites applications for the position of Staff Associate. The selected applicant will provide office management and administrative support to the Department of Occupational Therapy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative assistance to all program faculty
- Maintain program data base for all program applicants
- Work with the Chair to collect, analyze and maintain data of Occupational Therapy graduates for various surveys (i.e. employer, graduate) and reports data for annual report to the Dean, College of Health Sciences
- Event planner (i.e. travel request, reservations, transportation) for the department
- Work with the Chair to collect, maintain, and report data of program enrollment for annual reports to the Dean, College of Health Sciences
- Work with the Chair and faculty on all program activities (i.e. OT Month, Student Orientation, Advisory Board meetings, etc.)
- Update rosters and compiles information; maintain department database
- Supervise graduate assistants and student workers, and perform other duties as assigned
