Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for landscape maintenance. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for gardens and landscapes. This role requires hands-on work with various tools and equipment, as well as the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.
- Troubleshoot and repair existing irrigation systems to ensure efficient operation.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to dig trenches, lay piping, and build irrigation infrastructure.
- Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and system modifications.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and landscaping equipment.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools used in installation and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor in outdoor settings.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot system issues effectively.
