Wastewater Grade II - Environmental Services
PAID TRAINING TO BECOME A GRADE 4 OPERATOR FOR ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNTIES!
Grade II: $21.87 - $30.27 per hour - pay based on experience
The purpose of this position is to perform specialized technical work associated with wastewater treatment plant operations and maintenance.
Opening is for (1) evening shift position: Tuesday - Saturday 2pm - 10 pm. Off on Sunday and Monday

Monitor wastewater treatment plant processes and equipment using established procedures to ensure proper sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal in accordance with federal and state regulations. Monitor and inspect plant equipment for safety, maintenance, and proper process operations; performs repairs. Collect samples and conduct laboratory testing. Monitor and record plant data; prepares reports and maintain records. Grease and lubricate equipment; maintain adequate fuel levels. Add chemicals and/or microorganisms to wastewater and maintain correct ratios. Operate machinery, equipment, and tools which may include pumps, motors, generators, blowers, valves, and computers. Perform cleaning, repair, and maintenance tasks to keep the plant facilities, machinery, equipment, tools, and grounds in good working condition. Attend and participate in safety meetings; abide by safety protocols and help maintain a safe working environment for self and others.
