Highly responsible position assisting Court Security Deputies in maintaining security and decorum in the various courts of the Alachua County judicial system. Will be required to collect DNA and Fingerprint submission in various court events.Responsible for assisting the operation of security posts at the main and staff/services entrances and judicial suites, and for monitoring the security equipment located in the control room. Will respond to medical emergencies within the courthouses and assist with emergency evacuations of the building. This position shall not have direct supervision over persons in custodyWork is performed under the direct supervision of the Court Security Sergeant. Performance is evaluated through observation, results obtained, appropriate employee performance appraisals, and oral/written reports.
