What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC/Haeger position at Alacriant, Inc.?
We are seeking a CNC machine operator/programmer to join our team to lead change overs and new product development.
DESCRIPTION
- Operates CNC machinery and/or manual machinery to produce parts for additional manufacturing operations or sold as is as finished goods.
- Can edit/write required programs to operate the CNC machine.
- Reads production paperwork to determine specified requirements to manufacture.
- Is able to determine if material supplied meets production requirements.
- Is able to repeat production set-ups.
- Is able to use measuring equipment.
- Is able to operate all tool room equipment.
- Is able to improve production set-ups.
- Has the ability to do 1st piece inspections prior to submittal to QA.
- Fills out production paperwork and timekeeping records. (In-Process and Final Audit Report)
- Must maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area in compliance with facility housekeeping policies.
- Wears required safety equipment and follow Safety Policy.
- Is required to read blueprints to review characteristics that need to be monitored.
- Monitors the calibration of the equipment they use within their department.
- Know what the Company Quality Policy and Quality Objectives mean to their role associated with the achievement of these objectives.
- Provides Continuous Improvement ideas.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School/GED
Experience: 3 years
Computer Skills: Able to use shop floor software and complete simple programming on CNC machine
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Formal CNC training or equivalent experience
