Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgeon to join our medical team on Fort Bragg to see Service members 2 times a month. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in various surgical procedures and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in advanced surgical techniques, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and expertise, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including pre-operative evaluations and post-operative follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation throughout the surgical process, utilizing systems such as Dentrix.
- Healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Implement infection control measures to ensure a sterile environment during surgical procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding surgical options, risks, and recovery processes.
- Stay current with advancements in surgical techniques and technologies relevant to the field of surgery.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Surgery or relevant specialty is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, patient assessment, and medical documentation practices.
- Experience in prosthodontics or pediatrics is a plus.
- Proficient in four-handed dentistry techniques and dental fabrication processes.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to ethical standards in medicine.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $1,500.00 - $5,000.00 per day
Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
