Locum Tenens Obstetrician/Gynecologist Opportunity
We are seeking a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a locum tenens position near Columbia, TN. This role focuses on inpatient care with call-only responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care in an inpatient setting.
- Be available for 24-hour call coverage, handling admissions, consultations, and patient care as needed.
- Manage admissions and oversee patient care in the hospital environment.
- Rounding on nursery patients as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- OB/GYN Expertise: Deliver routine obstetric and gynecological care, including handling various procedures and emergency situations.
- Patient Volume: Manage approximately 2 patients per shift.
- Procedures: Perform typical OB/GYN procedures, with a focus on inpatient care.
- Certification and Licensing: Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology; Fellowship training preferred but not mandatory. Active Tennessee medical license and BLS/ACLS certifications required.
