This position, as an Identification Workspace Investigation Representative (IDW Rep), is responsible for supporting the Alacrity Subrogation Recovery Representatives via judiciously reviewing daily data runs uploaded into the SpartanRMS IDW Queue for the sole purpose of identifying missed recovery opportunities. Reviews can be for Closed File Reviews (CFR), Open File Reviews (OFR) or for First Notice of Loss (FNOL), as requested by a client. IDW Task Queue job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the itemized essential functions listed below.
Primary Duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitors IDW Queue daily to work the system via “get new case” or by specialty requests to do so by specific client, or by LOB.
- files for payments, downloads support documents and uploads to SpartanRMS.
- Reviews files in the SpartanRMS Queue while simultaneously opening up the claims platform for the client cited, and reviewing various support documents such as a police report, Fire Marshall report, weather reports, insured statements, and client notes to formulate an educated opinion as to whether the case at hand has recovery potential.
- Places a note in the Text Box with a brief explanation as to why the case is being marked success, and selects the “success” tab.
- On cases where no recovery potential exists, selects the “failure” tab and the drop-down reason for the particular failure.
- Receives and learns client claim platform navigation as new clients are enrolled.
- Understands and adjusts work priorities in accordance with management instructions.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.

- Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner.
- Ability to recognize liability situations for all lines of business, especially but not limited to Automobile, Property, and Workers’ Compensation.
- Must be adept at navigating multiple client claims platforms, to determine loss facts, payment amounts, and coverages while working in the IDW Queue.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order over same.
- Exceptional work ethic.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in verbal and written form.
- Excellent judgment and strong multitasking abilities.
- Must be results-oriented and demonstrate strategic thinking, innovation, flexibility in dealing with changing and ambiguous situations.
- Decisive and exercises good judgment under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Proactive problem-solver who can research answers and resources to complete complex tasks with little assistance.
Starting salary range:
- $20.00-$22.00 per hour
