**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Engineer II to provide network engineering support, security, administration, and management to all classified and unclassified PMRF mission specific networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT networking concepts, including knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring and maintaining network devices in accordance with DoD/DoN/PMRF policy, as well as providing network centric Cyber Security subject matter expertise. They will also be responsible for system wide troubleshooting and problem resolution both in "stand-down" as well as "live" mission environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and configure all network engineering assigned hardware and software associated with classified and unclassified network infrastructures.
- Accomplish Cyber Security related tasks/requirements utilizing the following tools: DISA STIGS, SCAP, SRR scripts, and/or ACAS/Nessus.
- Maintain 100% network device compliance with DoD directed IAVM program(s) and assists in the development of POA&M for non-compliant devices.
- Configure and maintain network management platforms and monitors data on the network to provide troubleshooting & daily review of audits/logs.
- Prepare and submit status reports, technical reports, procedures (operational and maintenance) to management and customers.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's Degree, and at least three (3) years of network/engineering experience, or High school diploma/GED, and at least five (5) years of network/engineering experience.
- Cisco CCNA Certification.
- DOD 8570/8140: IAT II certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
