**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will provide Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration services for our government customer. You will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining systems, including software installation, update, patching, and core services.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure systems, including software installation, update, patching, and core services.
- Implement DISA STIG requirements and perform system hardening and configuration management tasks.
- Provide technical expertise at supervisor and management meetings.
- Determine when desktop, server, software, and OS upgrades are required.
- Prioritize work center organization, equipment, and processes based on performance requirements and mission needs.
- Manage AD users and groups.
- Configure local storage using partitions and logical volumes.
- Create and configure file systems and file system attributes.
- Operate running systems, including booting into different run levels and identifying processes.
- Support application installation, licenses management, software tracking/distribution, and backup/recovery of system configurations and user data files.
- Maintain up-to-date configuration control and adhere to all configuration management requirements.
