About the Job
This role requires the successful candidate to provide custodial services to the park, including visitor centers, administrative offices, campground, and trailheads. Key responsibilities include performing tasks such as basic cleaning, trash removal, mirror cleaning, drinking fountain maintenance, general spot cleaning/disinfecting, dusting, restroom disinfecting, toilet bowl and urinal descaling, sweeping, mopping, and stocking restroom supplies. The candidate will also assist with special events and emergency cleaning situations.
Responsibilities and Requirements
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for visitors and staff;
* Perform tasks such as basic cleaning, trash removal, mirror cleaning, drinking fountain maintenance, general spot cleaning/disinfecting, dusting, restroom disinfecting, toilet bowl and urinal descaling, sweeping, mopping, and stocking restroom supplies;
* Assist with special events and emergency cleaning situations;
* High school diploma or equivalent required;
* Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record;
* Two (2) years of custodial work experience;
* Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods;
* Ability to efficiently manage time and maintain quality standards;
* Understanding of health and safety regulations;
* Possess attention to detail;
* Ability to communicate effectively;
* Must be able to speak, read, and write English;
* U.S. citizenship required;
* Ability to pass a Federal background check.
