The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Social and Behavioral Scientist II / Principal Investigator to support our government customer located in Silver Spring, MD.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Conducts research and development activities in support of behavioral health efforts for the military.
- Responsible for designing and conducting experiments and program evaluations, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and writing technical reports and manuscripts.
- Expected to travel to military installations for data collections.
- Expected to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and co-workers, assist with implementation of initiatives, and provide consultation as needed.
- Takes the lead on projects and functions as a principal investigator and is accountable for the execution of protocols.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
REQUIRED DEGREE / EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION :
Preferred : a doctoral degree in Behavioral Science or related field
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
Minimum of five plus (5 ) years of experience in Behavioral Science or related field.
