The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Software Integration & Support Engineer to support our government customer located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Software Integration and Support Engineer will assist the larger team in completion and delivery of advanced software tools and capabilities related to the DTRIAC Collection and user capabilities.
DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Programming, data management, general coding to create new tools
- Integrate new tools and existing tools into larger systems of operation
- Trouble shoot and test tools for operations
- Provide support for software operations including updates
- Assist in technical projects with various departments, including the Advanced Search and Discovery (ASD) team and the Information Systems (IS) teams of similar activities up to 30% of their time.
- Core responsibilities will require excellence in common computer languages including Python, Java, and Powershell, while collaborating with other SMEs to mature tools, analyze data, and refine codes with input from internal and external users.
- Work with other contracting teams to move and transfer data as needed on DoD IT systems in an efficient manner.
- Additional duties may be added as the position evolves.
