Position Purpose
This position is responsible for the administration of all local, state, and federal assessments as well as supporting at-risk students through graduation. The employee is also responsible for determining the appropriate approach to take within the school system's testing policies and procedures. The employee is expected to collaboratively or independently resolve all problems except unusually complex ones. The employee works under the general supervision of the principal.

Position Purpose

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in an applicable field for applicable level(s)
- Holds a current NC State teaching license
- Experience in working in a school setting
- Strong written and interpersonal skills
- Strong technological skills
- Ability to problem-solve
- Requires strong organizational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of general office equipment.
- Ability to demonstrate proper telephone etiquette.
- Must attend to details necessary to complete forms properly.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative in completing work assignments.
- Possess effective oral and written communication skills.
- Attend local meetings and trainings regarding testing updates
- Conducts school-based test training sessions for all school staff
- In compliance with board policy and DPI regulations, schedules, assigns and monitors all school test settings
- Works with local curriculum coordinators concerning testing
- Collaborates with other school-based testing coordinators
- Collaborates with school-based Exceptional Children personnel, EL staff, and 504 Coordinators concerning testing accommodations
- Ships and distributes test materials as needed
- Frequently monitors and updates student information in online testing platform
- Collaborates with the school data manager regarding student enrollments and required any required assessments
- Maintains accurate records and completes all required paperwork for all test sessions
- Distributes student performance results in a timely manner
- Ensures Individual Student Reports are distributed to parents/guardians and filed in student cumulative folders
