The Admissions Office Assistant for Health Sciences supports the mission of ACC to provide educational programs and services to prepare all members of our diverse community to succeed. This position plays a critical role in providing excellent customer service and support to prospective students and guests. This position serves as the initial point of contact for prospective students, current students, and visitors, and ensures a welcoming and efficient onboarding environment. This position enhances the overall student experience and contributes significantly to the efficient operations of the college.Â
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesÂ
Preferred:Â A.A.S. degree or higher in Business Administration or related area;Â experience working in a community college setting;Â bilingual in Spanish.
An ACC on-line application MUST be fully completed for consideration, which includes a required letter of interest, transcript attachment. Resume attachments are welcome but will not be accepted in lieu of complete application. Â
For faculty positions, all relevant full- and part-time teaching experience, including start and end dates of employment, should be included on the application. Also, all relevant full- and part-time work experience related to the teaching discipline should be included on the application, including start and end dates.

- Greet and assist customers in an efficient, friendly, and helpful manner.
- Assist prospective health sciences students with admissions and onboarding.
- Manage the intake and filing of various forms and documents for selective health programs.Â
- Assist with admission applications and other incoming admissions documents for health sciences students.
- Answer and manage incoming calls, voicemails, and emails for the Admissions Office.
- Assist with TEAS and admissions placement testing as needed.
- Maintain accurate information on the health sciences admissions processes on the College's website.
- Assist with health sciences information sessions using Zoom and/or other online technologies.Â
- Scan documents using document imaging software.
- Provide assistance to the Admissions Office as needed.
- Follow FERPA laws while processing and maintaining accurate student records.Â
- Perform other duties as assigned.
