Associates Degree Preferred Or Equivalent Experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations N/A
NC Certified Forklift Operator, Valid NC Driver's License
Lifting up to 50 pounds

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Moves furniture and any items requested to be moved, disposed of, and / or posted for resale. Assembly of some items may be required.
- Manages Surplus by keeping the warehouse organized and disposing of old, damaged items when replaced with incoming items, i.e., desks, shelves, file cabinets, etc.
- Receives materials and compares the items with information on packaging materials and the College Purchase Orders to verify accuracy. May also reject or return shipments if damaged or incorrect items received, etc.
- Delivers items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.
- Maintains Fleet Vehicles, including cleaning, routine maintenance, and reservation requests.
- Posts assets on GovDeals for sale and coordinates pick up of the sold items.
- Tags High-Risk and Capital Asset items with asset tags and enters them in Colleague upon receipt.Â
- Works with Purchasing Clerk to ensure you have access to all POs to match with incoming items.
- Reviews outstanding purchase orders on a weekly basis and follow up with suppliers to ensure items are delivered in a timely manner.
- Periodically run inventory reports and verify location of inventory items. Inventory reconciliation done once a year at fiscal year-end June 30th.
- Works with the Operations Coordinator to set up and / or change receiving and inventory control processes for better efficiencies.
- Enters in Colleague received Purchase Orders and informs Accounts Payable so they may pay the invoice.
- May track lost shipments and / or customer claims to obtain Proof-Of-Delivery documents.
- Receives and processes service request and inventory adjustment documents.
- Prepares Monthly Inventory reports and sends to Accounting Office by the 15th of each month.
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
